A crash between a dump truck and a pickup at a busy Ottawa County intersection caused some traffic hassles Tuesday, May 1. The dump truck, hauling asphalt and asphalt rolling equipment, was northbound on M-231 about 2:20 p.m when the driver failed to stop for a red light at M-104, Ottawa County sheriff's deputies said. The pickup driver, 46-year-old Todd Pilczuk of Nunica, was taken to North Ottawa Community Hospital and was last known to be in stable condition.
